Our Programmes

At Beyond Education, we believe that when families thrive, young people thrive too. Our programmes bring parents, children and communities together, creating the supportive environments young people need to reach their full potential.

We support families in ways that make a real difference — at home, in the community, and beyond the classroom. Our programmes are built around three focus areas:

Equipping Parents

The Thrive Project (8-Week Programme)

Parents are a child’s first and most important educators. That’s why we equip parents with the skills, tools, knowledge and confidence they need to support their child’s learning and development.

The Thrive Project is an 8-week series of interactive, practical workshops helping parents:

Support learning at home and navigate school transitions

Understand and navigate the education system with confidence

Strengthen family connections

Develop employability, entrepreneurial and life skills
By the end of the programme, parents are empowered to help their children thrive academically, socially and emotionally – while also creating new opportunities for their families.

Inspiring Young People

Launchpad: Your Smooth Start to the Next Stage

Young people need opportunities to build confidence, develop skills and prepare for key transitions. Our programmes create spaces for them to do just that.

Launchpad is an activity-based workshop designed to help students:

Prepare for transitions to a new school year or stage of education

Build positive routines and organisational skills

Boost self-confidence through activities and peer discussions

Gain strategies for overcoming challenges and staying motivated
By the end of the session, young people feel prepared, capable and confident to take on the next phase of their education.

Strengthening Families

BE Connected: Families & Friends Day

Strong families grow in strong communities. Our events bring families together to connect, learn and celebrate across generations.

BE Connected is a fun, intergenerational community day designed to:

Bring families together to play, explore and celebrate

Encourage learning and shared experiences across generations

Strengthen relationships between families, schools and communities

Create a sense of belonging and community spirit
These events celebrate the relationships and community connections that help families, and children, thrive.
Together, we’re equipping parents, inspiring young people and strengthening families – building a future where every child can thrive, regardless of income or postcode.

Impact Stories

Zoe came and taught the 13-14 year old girls in my school about the impact of social media on their identity and self-esteem. The girls loved it and gave such positive feedback. They went to their teachers so excited. We definitely will be inviting her back.

Ilera provided me with a curriculum and slides I can use to provide mental and emotional health education to my students. I was really impressed with the structure, attention to detail and effort they had put in to provide an impactful lesson to my students. It made my life so much easier as a teacher and I can’t wait to use it.
